Dr Zak’s Pasta & Meatballs

  • 400 g lean mince beef
  • 1 egg
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Clove of garlic
  • 1 tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 2 tsp Italian herbs

Cooking Instructions

  • In a bowl combine mince beef, egg, garlic and season with salt and pepper and form into 12 small balls.
  • In a frying pan, brown chopped onion with garlic then add meatballs. Once meatballs are brown add pepper and fry for 3 minutes. Then add chopped tomatoes and Italian herbs and simmer on med-low heat for 12-14 minutes or until the meat is cooked through and pepper is soft.
  • In a meantime, cook up your portions of Dr Zak’s pasta so that it is ready at the same time as the sauce.
